Belén Martín is the Director of Private Banking & Future Thinking at CaixaBank. She has over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, holding positions in private banking, corporate banking, and retail banking, with extensive expertise in team transformation, change management, and customer experience.
Belén is a member of the management committee of VidaCaixa, CaixaBank Asset Management, and also of CaixaBank Wealth Management Luxembourg. She is also responsible for the CaixaBank Group’s Management Company.
In addition to being Vice President of the APD Board in Castilla y León, she has been a member of the Economy and Financial Policy Commission of the CEOE, Vice President of the Spanish Association of Executives and Directors, and is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Woman Forward Foundation.
She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid, as well as a Director Program from ESADE, a Senior Management Program from IE (Instituto de Empresa Business School), an Executive Program for Women in Senior Management at ESADE, a master’s degree in Foreign Trade from CESMA Business School, and an MBA from IADE.
Marta Alonso has an extensive career in private banking and wealth management. She began her professional journey in 1993 at Banco Urquijo as Branch Manager in the Commercial Network. Later, in 1995, she joined the Private Banking team at Banif. In 1997, she participated in the creation of Altae Private Banking, part of Caja Madrid. During her time at this institution, she held various roles before being appointed Corporate Director of Bankia Private Banking.
Following the integration of Bankia into CaixaBank, Marta took on the development of the Independent Advisory service as Head of Independent Advisory, a key project within the Group. Additionally, she serves as a Board Member of CaixaBank Wealth Management Luxembourg.
Marta holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance from CUNEF and a postgraduate degree from the Senior Management Development Program at IE Business School.
Juan Gandarias began his professional career in the Corporate Banking area of Citibank. In 1988 he joined AB Asesores, where he became a partner and was a member of its Board of Directors. In 1999, following the acquisition of AB Asesores by Morgan Stanley, he assumed the position of CEO of Morgan Stanley SV.
Following the acquisition of Morgan Stanley SV by CaixaBank in 2008, he was appointed Director of Private Banking and Personal Banking of the entity, assuming these responsibilities until 2015. That same year, he became Territorial Director of Madrid, ending his time at CaixaBank as CEO of CaixaBank Payments&Consumer from 2019 to 2023.
He has served on numerous boards of directors and currently sits on several boards of CaixaBank group companies and acts as senior advisor to some Family Offices, as well as in some companies owned by private equity.
He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid an MBA from IESE and has completed the “Value Creation Through Effective Boards” program at IESE & Harvard Business School.
Diego has been working in the financial sector for more than 26 years. He has worked for UBS in different business divisions (Investment Banking and Private Banking) based in different cities (London, Madrid and Zurich).
He started his professional career at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC Warburg) London where he covered different business areas within investment banking and capital markets, geographic regions (Southern Europe, LatAm, Russia, Middle East and North Africa) and clients (institutional, supranational and sovereign wealth funds).
Subsequently, he was part of the initial team for the creation of UBS España S.A. (obtaining bank file, management file, incorporation of teams) where he ended up as Deputy General Manager in charge of UHNWI, Corporate and Real Estate. He was a member of the Europe committee for the Global Family Office area (Madrid-Zurich).
He then held the position of Managing Director of the Global Family Office division for the development of the Latin American market with special focus on “Familly Offices“, and corporate family wealth. At the end of 2016 he joined Caixabank as Head of Key Clients.
He holds a degree in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Economics, and a Postgraduate degree in Economics.
Gonzalo has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, mainly in the areas of capital markets and corporate banking.
He began his professional career at Caja Madrid, where he trained as a market risk specialist, and later held different responsibilities within the risk control area and the ALCO technical office.
In 1996 he moved to the field of asset management, where he was responsible for 5 years for the company’s own portfolio of bonds and equities.
Then he moved to the corporate business, first leading the structured finance (Project Finance and Leverage Finance) and M&A teams, then heading Corporate Banking and later also the network of business centers.
In 2013, already at Bankia, he was appointed director of Business Banking, joining the Management Committee a year later, of which he was a member until the merger with Caixabank.
Since then he has been director of the Corporate Banking unit at Caixabank.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Quantitative Economics, from Madrid’s Complutense University.
With 24 years of professional experience, Álvaro has developed his entire career in the field of financial, legal and asset advisory services.
He began his career at Garrigues & Andersen in 1998, training in the financial tax advisory department. During his time as a senior associate, he specialized in the Private Equity sector and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
In 2006 he joined and participated in the implementation of Barclays Wealth in Spain as head of Wealth Planning and, later on, as head of Private Banking for the HNWI and UHNWI segments.
In 2015 he joined CaixaBank where, among other responsibilities, he has actively participated in the development of the independent advisory model of Caixabank Wealth as Director Wealth and Investment Advisor of UHNWI clients.
He holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree in tax law from Garrigues European Studies Center.
With 27 years of professional experience, Susana has developed her entire career in the field of financial and wealth advisory.
She began her career at BBVA and later at Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona “la Caixa” (currently CaixaBank) in 1995.
In 2001 he joined Banca Privada, taking over the management of a private banking branch in 2008.
In 2020 she moved to CaixaBank Wealth as Director to promote the development of the independent advisory model.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University Jaume I of Castellón, is certified by EFPA, CISI and Sustainable Investments and has completed programs at IESE and Headspring.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Samantha has developed her entire career in the field of financial and wealth advisory.
She joined Caixabank in 2005, and later joined the Private Banking team, where she has held several responsibilities, being part of the high net worth team and participating from the beginning in the development of the independent advisory model of Caixabank Wealth.
She holds an Economics degree from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, a
postgraduate degree in financial management and a master’s degree in Finance.
With almost 30 years in the financial sector, Andrés has developed his entire career in the field of financial and asset advisory services.
He began his career in 1994 at Grupo Argentaria, joining AB Asesores, S.V. in 1997, where he managed the Málaga office. In 1999, he joined Morgan Stanley as Executive Director, holding various responsibilities as Deputy to the Managing Director and Deputy to the Chief Executive Officer. In 2002, he was appointed Regional Director of the Southern Zone.
In 2008, after joining la Caixa, he became Territorial Director of Private Banking, Premier Banking and External Resources in Andalucía until 2016. Since then, he has been responsible for High Net Worth in the southern area of Spain, joining OpenWealth in June 2023.

With a career spanning almost 30 years in the financial sector, Mariti has dedicated her entire career to financial and wealth advisory.
She began her activity at Banif, joining Barclays Bank in 2001 as Director of Premier Patrimonios.
In 2015 she joined CaixaBank as Director of Private Banking and, subsequently, as Director Wealth specialist in wealth management for IIRR and non-profit entities.
She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the UAH, is certified by EFPA and has a Master in Portfolio Management from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB).
With over 20 years of professional experience, Íñigo held various leadership positions at Banco Popular initially and later at Caja de Ahorros de Navarra, working in financial advisory and planning. In 2011, he joined CaixaBank’s Private Banking division and later moved to CaixaBank Wealth’s Independent Advisory division.
He holds a degree in Law with a specialization in Economics from the University of Deusto and has a Postgraduate Specialization in Private Banking from UPF.
With over 31 years of experience in the financial sector and 24 years in wealth, financial, and legal advisory, Alfons joined CaixaBank in 1993. In 2001, he became part of the Private Banking unit, where he went on to lead several centers.
He holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has completed postgraduate studies in Financial Management and Wealth Management at the IEF in Barcelona, Financial Markets at the UOC, and Banking Management at the UPF.
Mario started his professional career as a consultant in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) area at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he acquired expertise in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) department.
After his time at PwC, he joined OpenWealth at the beginning of the project in 2022, providing wealth consulting services to UHNW clients.
He holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Extremadura, a Master’s in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), and an Excellence Programme in International Financial Markets from the London School of Economics (LSE).
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Rafael has developed his career in the field of real estate management, analysis, and consulting.
He began his activity in ACS in 2002 as Project/Construction Manager responsible for the construction of several high-volume investment buildings: Ciudad Financiera Banco Santander, and Hospital Puerta de Hierro.
In 2007, he joined Banco Santander where he held positions of responsibility related to the analysis and management of the group’s real estate assets.
In 2019, he joined Alantra as head of analysis of several real estate equity and alternative debt funds.
Most recently he worked at A&G as director of Asset Management responsible for the analysis, management, and strategic advice of real estate portfolios of UHNWI clients.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, an EMBA from IESE. In addition, he holds CFA, FRM, and LEED AP certifications.
After his tenure at CaixaBank Wealth, Diego joined GVC Gaesco Valores in 2021 as a fund analyst and selector, eventually becoming head of the investment products and services team.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), a Master’s in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), and completed the Global Business and Markets Program at the London School of Economics (LSE), in addition to holding the CFA certification.
After his tenure at GVC Gaesco Valores, Miguel joined Banco Sabadell in 2022 as a fund analyst and selector for the Private Banking advisory division.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s in Stock Markets and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), and the Global Business and Markets Programme certificate from the London School of Economics (LSE). Additionally, he is a CFA Level III Candidate.
Carlos began his professional career in 2013 as a lawyer in the Financial and Tax Law department at Cuatrecasas.
He has extensive experience in tax and wealth advisory services for high-net-worth individuals (UHNW clients), executives, artists, and athletes. Additionally, he specializes in the taxation of family businesses and tax advisory for financial sector entities, particularly private equity firms and open- and closed-end investment funds, both domestic and international.
Carlos holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master’s in Taxation and Fiscal Advisory from the Centro de Estudios Financieros. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
She began her career at Barclays Bank, where she held different positions of responsibility in the Products and Business Development areas and, later, as Director of Planning and Strategy for Barclays Wealth.
She has more than 25 years of experience in developing technology projects related to financial markets for private banking.
In 2015 she joined CaixaBank as head of the Digital Systematics area of Private Banking and in 2018 she became the Chief Operating Officer of CaixaBank Wealth. She holds a degree in Business Studies from Madrid’s Complutense University.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Gabriel has developed his career in the financial sector, holding leadership positions in product development, project management, and management control. He began his professional career at ING in the Financial Planning area and later worked in the Savings and Investment Products team. In 2008, he joined Barclays, where he was responsible for Liability and Investment Products.
In 2015, he joined CaixaBank Private Banking, where he worked on the Product Development team and on the launch of CaixaBank Wealth Management Luxembourg. Since 2020, he has been responsible for Commercial Planning and Management Control for the unit.
He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI and an Executive MBA from IE Business School.
Sonia has 36 years of experience in the financial sector, always in the field of Private Banking. She began her career at Banif Bank, managing unit trusts and investment funds.
She joined Privat Bank in 1998 as head of client portfolio management and monitoring. From the year 2000, she joined Banco Inversion in Risk Control, General Intervention (banking liability control), Financial Planning and Reporting, and was head of internal control for consultancy.
In 2007, she moved to the Private Banking arm of Bancaja, working across different areas. After the merger with CaixaBank, she continued to take on more responsibility in private banking. She is certified as an EFPA (European Financial Advisor) and in sustainable investments-ESG by the Pompeu Fabra University.
Cristina began her professional career 27 years ago at Banco Zaragozano, later joining Barclays Bank and, subsequently, Caixabank, where she was responsible for the administration of different offices in Madrid.
In 2019 she joined the Operations department of Caixabank Wealth and, since then, she has performed support and support tasks for clients and private banking managers.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In addition, she holds a certification in Financial Information and Advice and a certification in Sustainable Investments from Pompeu Fabra University.
